The dot.pot is a 3-in-1 product for modern bathrooms. Kids start potty training on the potty and advance to toilet training using the dot.pot as a toilet trainer and step stool, significantly increasing the product's lifespan and reducing plastics usage.
Baby Matters won a 'cradle to cradle' Grenzeloos Gebruik award for their ambition to develop a 100% healthy and recyclable potty.

This project for Baby Matters is a fine example of the full product development services Smidesign provides, from idea to market introduction. A brand vision and new product candidates were laid out in an innovation workshop with people from Baby Matters, designers, child care professionals and an expert in branding and communication strategies. One idea was further developed and engineered by Smidesign. Smidesign also coordinated the certification, patent research and application, packaging development, prototyping and testing, and final production in China.
